Trader Joe is a grocery store that has a competitive advantage of having more than 500 stores. The company has an online selling approach for the groceries but the growth has been slow. The limitations in reaching the customers makes it difficult for the company to grow its sales over time. This, with the use of Facebook Marketplace, it is possible to increase the number of sales and customers who buy from the grocery store. There are 179 million active users of Facebook in United States which represents a major potential market for Trader Joe (Salgado & Bobba, 2019). The benefits of using Facebook Marketplace include the fact that the businesses are able to select the categories of their goods and hence bring the consumers who are most relevant and get the right customers. Facebook Marketplace will also increase the marketing abilities of Trader Joe to all over the world because Facebook is used in different countries.
